What makes this building so attractive is probably because this building is a typical example of Yemeni architecture. Seems to be growing out of the rocks where he built, and has the characteristics of a window and the edge of the painting. In addition, he stood alone in an oasis of green and quiet, which is a wadi.

In the past, Yemen does not have a king or a president. Instead, the leadership of the country lies on the shoulders of an Imam (Muslim spiritual leader). Yahya Muhammad Hamiddin (1869-1948) became the Imam of Zaydis (a sect of Islam) after the death of his father in 1904, later became Imam of Yemen in 1918 until he was killed in 1948.

The palace was built in 1930 by Imam Yahya as a summer palace. Palace finally opened to visitors, however, turns into a kind of museum.

We can buy a ticket to get into the palace. Five-story building with many rooms and large and small staircase that seems to bring visitors spinning. There is a kitchen, storage space, space for women, a meeting room for high-ranking officials and friends of Imam Yahya.

There is a system to cool the water in the jars Earthware, we can also see the window takhrim close, there is a very deep wells.

The fifth floor offers things that deserve to be seen, but a walk in the bottom of the building is equally impressive and heightens our admiration in Yemen stunning architecture.
